German team champion middle distance
German Champion!! This sounds like really good at times. At the German Championships in the middle distance (2-85-20) on Sunday, I was able to win with Matthew Grau and Frederik Martin the German championship title.
After a moderate swimming, in which it was all pretty beat up totally, I got a few places behind the top of the water. On the bike I was able to make really good pressure. The track was quite challenging with lots of waves and a stiff climbs. Since I had much respect for the final 20km run, I was driving wheel controls, but was still quite fast. Unfortunately, I noticed at first run miles that I last gel on the bike better not even had time to would have. I got severe stomach cramps and could not walk out the rhythm. In the meantime, I almost went into the bushes, but then I could still zusammereißen somehow. From kilometer 15 and then came back a little better, so I could again take up the pace a bit. The legs felt pretty fresh yet anyway. Despite the problems in running I could finish as 20TER overall and 6th as my age group. As a second behind Matt KTTler (9ter) I was able to contribute to winning the league title. Frederik completed the team as a 25 ter. I'm with my result in the very strong field race be very satisfactory, especially since this is my first right middle distance was (the middle distance in Australia I had passed completely without training).
Now I hope that me in the next race, my stomach does not let you back in and I can show a better mileage. My wheel shape is definitely true.
