Swim & Run in Bonn

After I got back 2 weeks in training and had also survived a mild cold, I started on last Saturday's Swim & Run in Bonn. This competition diehnt many athletes KTT each year as a small form test before the season and so I wanted to use it. I started in the swimming competition with a miserable performance. Already the first 100m was too slow and somehow I just could not swim fast. What exactly do I change the swimming training up to the season still has to swim to the good performance of the end of last year to tie I have to swim with my coaches so think again.
than 11 I did it now, with proper anger over the poor swimming performance in the abdomen on the run course. I decided to put everything on one card and to run with decent pace. Although I could tell at kilometer two, it would be very hard but the pace to run through, I managed somehow. So I got a new best time over 5km (16:30) preliminaries, but still down to 5th place. I must say that I was the very good running a little reconciled to the competition, even if I were swimming with a better performance for a few places further up front.
Conclusion: The running form is on its way to the swimming I have to do a lot.
